Reaching Michigan’s Second- Largest City Through Comprehensive Evangelism

Grand Rapids 2.0 is a city-wide evangelistic initiative by Streams of Light Training Institute to mobilize missionaries to distribute 35,000 copies of The Great Controversy across Grand Rapids and Holland, Michigan, from July 12-19. Hosted at the Grand Rapids Wyoming SDA Church, this mission is carried out in partnership with the Michigan Conference as part of SOLTI’s Comprehensive Evangelism Course and five-month City Mission campaign.

Students will lead the outreach from start to finish—combining prayer, literature evangelism, and intentional follow-up using One Accord to connect Bible study interests in real time. With free, on-site lodging and plant-based meals provided through registration, this mission is an opportunity to help light up Michigan with truth-filled literature and hope.

GRAND RAPIDS, MICHIGAN

Grand Rapids serves as a major population and economic center for West Michigan.

Michigan’s Second-Largest City Needs the Three Angels’ Messages

Grand Rapids is a strategic mission field where urban density, spiritual interest, and cultural diversity intersect. As Michigan’s second-largest city, with surrounding communities like Holland forming a broad West Michigan corridor, tens of thousands of households remain unreached by the three angels’ messages.
